Kendall is currently an essayist and cultural critic. Career Ī veteran of the United States Army, Kendall worked in government service until 2013 when she left her job at the Department of Veterans Affairs to pursue her writing career full-time. Kendall also has a Masters in Writing and Publishing from DePaul University.
